My dream to be self-employed officially began in September 2014 when I launched my Etsy store. Born from the idea to decorate our own home with a reclaimed wood wall, but unable to decide which wall to "reclaim," I created my very first piece from locally sourced wood and cut it into the shape of our home state, Minnesota. After posting my creation to social media, I was overwhelmed with close friends and co-workers wanting their own custom pieces. Pictured below are my first two templates...sister states, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Since its inception, my business has made and sold over 130 pieces of art, the majority as custom creations. Truely living up to my vision: "You dream it, I'll do it."
